The HONOReform Foundation advances the lessons learned in hepatitis C outbreaks through education and awareness efforts for patients and healthcare providers regarding hepatitis and safe injection practices.

The Foundation has been a catalyst for change through education since 2007, including such efforts as leading a coalition of governmental agencies, professional organizations, and healthcare industry partners to create a national safe injection practice campaign for patients and healthcare providers.

Ongoing activities for the HONOReform Foundation include:

  • The One and Only Campaign – a patient/provider campaign that educates about the need for “One Needle, One Syringe, and Only One Time.”
  • Provision of educational materials
  • Participation in public educational forums and conferences.
  • Education of policy makers regarding defects in our present medical/legal/disaster response systems without a specific policy recommendation or “call to action.”
