Erin was a victim of SEPTIC SHOCK!!! Erin’s story as told by the Saint Petersburg Times in Summer of 2005 We were told the day you left us, that confidentially, “there are lots of Erins.” Patients have to be aware that no one is safe from sepsis and can die from the most minor of infections if not treated promptly and aggressively! Erin’s foundation is helping change that through the Sepsis Alliance. Now St. Petersburg College of Nursing and the Rotary Club of Clearwater East have joined the Erin K Flatley Foundation to offer the Erin K. Flatley Advanced Technical Certificate in Sepsis Awareness and Education. |
